การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมกล่องงาน โดยใช้รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนทักษะปฏิบัติของซิมพ์ซัน เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองในชีวิตประจำวัน สำหรับนักเรียนบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 และ 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองในชีวิตประจำวันของนักเรียน ก่อนและหลังที่เรียนด้วยชุดกิจกรรมกล่องงานที่พัฒนาขึ้น กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา ศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษ ประจำจังหวัดนครพนม ปีการศึกษา 2562 อายุระหว่าง 5-10 ปี จำนวน 5 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) ชุดกิจกรรมกล่องงาน 2) แผนการสอนเฉพาะบุคคล มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.53 และ 3) แบบประเมินความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองในชีวิตประจำวัน มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.56 สถิติพื้นฐานที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบแบบ Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test 

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ชุดกิจกรรมกล่องงาน โดยใช้รูปแบบการเรียนการสอนทักษะปฏิบัติของซิมพ์ซัน เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองในชีวิตประจำวัน สำหรับนักเรียนบกพร่องทางสติปัญญา ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 90/92 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่กำหนดไว้

2. ความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองในชีวิตประจำวันของนักเรียนหลังเรียนด้วยชุดกิจกรรมกล่องงานสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

This purposes of this research were: 1) to develop the task box activity packages using the instructional model of Simpson’s practice skills to enhance self-help ability in daily life of intellectually impaired children to meet the set criteria of 75/75, 2) to compare self-help ability in daily life of children with intellectual impairment before and after learning through the task box activity packages. A total of five children with intellectual impairment in the age group of 5-10 years, who attended Nakhonphanom Special Education Center, were selected as samples by purposive sampling in the academic year 2019. The research instruments consisted of: 1) the task box activity packages, 2) individual implementation plan with the mean score of 4.53, and 3) an assessment form of self-help ability in daily life with the mean score of 4.56. Statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test.

The findings of this research were as follows: 

1. The task box activity packages using the instructional model of Simpson’s practice skills to enhance self-help ability in daily life of children with intellectual impairment had the efficiency of 90/92, which was higher than the defined criteria of 75/75.

2. Self-help ability in daily life of children with intellectual impairment after the intervention was higher than that of before the intervention at a statistical significance of .05 level.
