การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพี่อ 1) ศึกษาภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว ทั้งระบบเสียง ระบบคำ ระบบโครงสร้างประโยค และระบบความหมาย และ 2) สร้างหลักสูตรภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว เพื่อการสืบสานและการอนุรักษ์ สำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวิธีดำเนินการวิจัยมี 2 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาข้อมูลภาษาผู้ไทย และระยะที่ 2 การสร้างหลักสูตรภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว เพื่อการสืบสานและการอนุรักษ์ สำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ 1) ผู้บอกภาษา จำนวน 30 คน อายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป ไม่จำกัดเพศ มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ที่บ้านนางัว และใช้ภาษาผู้ไทยเป็นภาษาแม่ 2) ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการจัดการเรียนการสอนและการพัฒนาหลักสูตร จำนวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสำรวจรายการคำ และแบบประเมินหลักสูตรภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว เพื่อการสืบสานและการอนุรักษ์ สำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1. ผลการศึกษาภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว ประกอบไปด้วย 1) ระบบเสียง 2) ระบบคำ 3) ระบบโครงสร้างประโยค และ 4) ระบบความหมาย

2. ร่างหลักสูตรภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว สำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ประกอบด้วย 12 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) ที่มาและความสำคัญของหลักสูตร 2) แนวคิดพื้นฐานในการพัฒนาหลักสูตร 3) หลักการของหลักสูตร 4) จุดมุ่งหมายของหลักสูตร 5) ผลการเรียนรู้ 6) ขอบข่ายเนื้อหา 7) คำอธิบายรายวิชา 8) โครงสร้างรายวิชา 9) แนวการจัดการเรียนรู้ 10) การจัดเวลาเรียน 11) สื่อและแหล่งเรียนรู้ และ 12) แนวการวัดและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้

3. การประเมินหลักสูตรภาษาผู้ไทยบ้านนางัว เพื่อการสืบสานและการอนุรักษ์ สำหรับนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics of the Phu Thai language at Na-ngua Village, and 2) to produce a Phu Thai language curriculum to preserve and conserve the Phu Thai language for upper secondary students. This study was qualitative research. The procedure of research comprised 2 phases: 1) studying the Phu Thai language, and 2) developing a Phu Thai language curriculum at Na-ngua Village to preserve and conserve the Phu Thai language for upper secondary students. The sample were : 1) 30 language informants who were over 60 years old of any genders, were native to Na-ngua Village, and used the Phu Thai language as their mother tongue, and 2) five experts in learning and curriculum development. The instruments used were: a form of words list and a form for evaluating the developed Phu Thai language curriculum for upper secondary students. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The findings of the study were as follows:

1. The result of the study of Phu Thai language at Na-ngua Village were as follows: 1) Phonology 2) Morphology 3) Syntax and 4) Semantics. 

2. The Phu Thai language curriculum at Na-ngua Village for upper secondary students comprised 12 components: 1) background 2) learning principles 3) curriculum principles 4) objectives 5) curriculum outcomes 6) content 7) course description 8) course outline 9) learning styles 10) duration 11) media and learning resources and 12) assignment and evaluation.

3. The overall evaluation of the curriculum developed from the Phu Thai language at Na-ngua village for its preservation and conservation for upper secondary students was at the highest level.
