การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษา 1) ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร 2) เปรียบเทียบระดับการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร ตามคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล 3) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองกับการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร 4) ศึกษาอิทธิพลของการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที (t-test) และการทดสอบค่าเอฟ (F-test) กรณีพบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 ทดสอบความแตกต่างเป็นรายคู่ด้วยวิธีการ (LSD) ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation) และการวิเคราะห์สหสัมพนธ์ถดถอยพหุคูณเชิงเส้น (Multiple Linear Regression Analysis) แบบ Stepwise

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก

2. ระดับการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง

3. ผลการเปรียบเทียบระดับการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล เป็นดังนี้

3.1 จำแนกตามเพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษาและอาชีพ พบว่า โดยภาพรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน

3.2 จำแนกตามสถานภาพการสมรสและรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน พบว่า โดยภาพรวมแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองกับการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนครมีความสัมพันธ์กัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ r=0.247 เป็นความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกและขนาดความสัมพันธ์อยู่ในระดับต่ำ

5. อิทธิพลของการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองที่มีต่อการตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร พบว่า มีปัจจัยที่สามารถพยากรณ์การตัดสินใจของประชาชนในการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลดงมะไฟ อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร ได้แก่ การรณรงค์หาเสียงเลือกตั้ง อย่างมีค่านัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

This study aimed: 1) to investigate the level of political participation of the people who had the right to vote in the Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province, 2) to examine the level of people’s decision in election of the president of Dong mafia Sub-district Administration Organization according to personal background, 3) to compare the people’s decision levels in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province, and 4) to inquire into the relationship between political participation and people’s decision in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province. A sample was people who had the right to vote in the Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization area. The instrument used in data collection was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (In case a significant difference was found at the .05 level, the LSD method would be used in a pairwise comparison), Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (Stepwise).

Findings of the study were as follows:

1. The level of overall political participation of the people who had the right to vote in the Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province was at moderate level.

2. The level of people’s decision in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province as a whole, was at moderate level.

3. Results of comparing the people’s decision levels in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization according to the personal backgrounds were as follows:

3.1 As classified by sex, age, educational attainment, and occupation, it was found that the overall decision level was found not indifferent.

3.2 As classified by marital status, and average income per month, it was found that the overall decision level was found significantly different at the .05 level.

4. The people political participation and decision in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province were positively correlated at the .05 level of significance but had low correlation with each other (r=0.247)

5. The influence of political participation on people’s decision in election of The president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province found that the factor which was able to significantly predict people’s decision in election of the president of Dong Mafai Sub-district Administration Organization, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province at the .05 level. was election campaign.
