การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPP Model ที่ส่งผลต่อความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ การคิดวิเคราะห์ และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ 3) เปรียบเทียบการคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียน  4) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียน และ 5) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ การคิดวิเคราะห์ และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน ของนักเรียน ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model จำแนกตามระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ของนักเรียน จำนวน 3 กลุ่ม ประกอบด้วยกลุ่มสูง กลุ่มปานกลาง และกลุ่มต่ำ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1/1  โรงเรียนสกลนครพัฒนศึกษา  สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 23 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 37 คน ซึ่งได้มาด้วยวิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling)  เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model จำนวน 7 ชุด 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดการคิดวิเคราะห์  4) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และ 5) แบบวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ ของกรมสุขภาพจิต กระทรวงสาธารณสุข สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย  ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติทดสอบค่าที (t – test for Dependent  Samples ) การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One – Way ANOVA) การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุคูณ  (One – Way MANCOVA) และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนร่วมทางเดียว (One – Way ANCOVA)

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1. ประสิทธิภาพของชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model  ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ เท่ากับ 85.84/82.49 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 80/80 ที่กำหนดไว้

2. ความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความของนักเรียนที่เรียนโดยใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model หลังเรียนสูงกว่า ก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3. การคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียนที่เรียนโดยใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

4. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนที่เรียนโดยใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วยเทคนิค CIRC ร่วมกับ CIPPA Model หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

5. นักเรียนที่มีความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ต่างกัน มีความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ การคิดวิเคราะห์ และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนไม่แตกต่างกัน

The purposes of this study were to 1) develop English reading packages using CIRC technique in conjunction with CIPPA Model for Mathayomsuksa 1 students to meet the required efficiency of 80/80; 2) compare students’ English reading comprehension ability; 3) compare students’ analytical thinking; 4) compare students’ learning achievement; and 5) compare the emotional intelligence levels of students in the high, medium and low categories for emotional intelligence before and after the intervention.  The samples, obtained through cluster random sampling technique, consisted of 37 Mathayomsuksa 1/1 students in the 2014 academic year at Sakon Nakhon Phattana Suksa School under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 23. The instruments were: 1) Seven English reading packages using CIRC technique in conjunction with CIPPA Model, 2) Reading comprehension test, 3) Analytical thinking assessment, 4) Learning achievement test, and 5) Emotional intelligence assessment of Mental Health Department, Ministry of Public Health. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t – test (Dependent Samples), Analysis of Variance (One-Way ANOVA), Multivariate Analysis of Variance (One-Way MANCOVA), and Analysis of Covariance (One-Way ANCOVA).

The results of the study were as follows:

1. The efficiency of the English reading packages using CIRC technique in conjunction with CIPPA Model for Mathayomsuksa 1/1 students was 85.31/82.49, which was above 80/80 set criterion.

2. The students’ reading comprehension ability after the intervention was higher than that of the pre-intervention mean scores at a statistical significance of the .05 level.

3. The students’ analytical thinking after the intervention was higher than before that of the pre-intervention mean scores at a statistical significance of the .05 level.

4. The students’ learning achievement after the intervention was higher than that of the pre-intervention mean scores at a statistical significance of the .05 level.

5. The students with different emotional intelligence level showed no differences in their ability in reading comprehension, analytical thinking and English proficiency.
