การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพและปัญหา การดำเนินงานเพื่อการพัฒนาครูเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูล 2) หาแนวทางเพื่อการพัฒนาครูเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูล 3) ติดตามผลการพัฒนาครูเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัย สังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลทรายมูล กระบวนการในการดำเนินการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นที่ 1การวางแผน (Planning) ขั้นที่ 2 การปฏิบัติการ (Action) ขั้นที่ 3 การสังเกตการณ์ (Observation) และขั้นที่ 4 การสะท้อนกลับ (Refection) กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือ กลุ่มผู้ร่วมวิจัย จำนวน 6 คน กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ได้แก่ แบบสังเกต แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณใช้สถิติ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 

1. ผลการศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาการพัฒนาครูเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูล สังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลทรายมูล พบว่า

1.1 ด้านสภาพ พบว่า สถานะเศรษฐกิจของครอบครัวของเด็กนักเรียนไม่ค่อยดี มีสภาพแวดล้อม ชุมชน สังคม ที่อยู่อาศัยและวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลายแตกต่างกัน จึงทำให้การแต่งกายไม่ครบถ้วนและสมบูรณ์ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีความรู้น้อยและมองไม่เห็นคุณค่าทางการศึกษา จึงมีผลต่อการแต่งกายและพฤติกรรมที่แสดงออกของเด็กนักเรียน ตลอดทั้งครูในโรงเรียนขาดการเอาใจใส่ดูแลเด็กนักเรียนอย่างจริงจังและเสมอต้นเสมอปลาย การดำเนินงานของครูไม่มีเอกภาพและแตกต่างกัน เพราะครูบางคนเข้มงวดต่อเด็กนักเรียนเพื่อให้ปฏิบัติตามกฎ ระเบียบของโรงเรียน แต่ยังมีครูอีกหลายคนปล่อยปะละเลย จึงส่งผลให้เด็กนักเรียนขาดความตระหนักที่จะพัฒนาตัวเองให้ดีขึ้น และบุคลิกภาพส่วนตัวของเด็กนักเรียน เช่นนิสัย ความรับผิดชอบ และการคบเพื่อน ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ทำให้นักเรียนมีพฤติกรรมมีปัญหาด้านวินัย

1.2   ด้านปัญหาพบว่ามีเด็กนักเรียนส่วนหนึ่งขาดระเบียบวินัย คือการแต่งกายไม่ถูกระเบียบ ใส่ชุดโรงเรียนอื่นมาโรงเรียน ใสชุดกีฬาไม่ตรงตามวันที่กำหนด ผู้ชายไว้ผมรองทรง สวมรองเท้าแตะมาโรงเรียน บางคนไม่ใสถุงเท้ามาโรงเรียน มาโรงเรียนสายบ่อยครั้ง ไม่เข้าแถวร่วมกิจกรรมเคารพธงชาติตอนเช้า ในเวลาดื่มนมไม่เข้าแถวชอบแย่งกันไม่เข้าคิวก่อน-หลัง ไม่มีความอ่อนน้อมถ่อมตนโดยการทำความเคารพยกมือไหว้ในขณะเดินสวนทางระหว่างครูหรือเมื่อพบเห็นบุคคลภายนอกที่เข้ามาในโรงเรียนเด็กนักเรียนไม่ยกมือไหว้ผู้ปกครองก่อนไปและกลับจากโรงเรียน การรับประทานอาหารที่มูมมามสกปรกเลอะเทอะคุยกันเสียงดังหยอกล้อเล่นกัน 

2. แนวทางการพัฒนาความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูลมี 4 แนวทางคือ 1) การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ 2) การสอนสอดแทรกวินัยเข้ากับกิจกรรมประจำวัน 3) การนิเทศติดตาม 4) นิเทศแบบให้คำชี้แนะ

3. ผลการติดตามการพัฒนาครูเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูล  พบว่า ครูผู้ดูแลเด็กมีความรู้ความเข้าใจและมีทักษะในการพัฒนาความมีวินัยของเด็กปฐมวัยในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านทรายมูลในระดับมาก และได้รับการช่วยเหลือ แนะนำ การให้คำปรึกษาในการพัฒนาวินัยเด็กนักเรียน ด้านการแต่งกาย  ด้านการตรงต่อเวลา ด้านการทำความเคารพ ด้านการเข้าคิวก่อน-หลัง และการรับประทานอาหาร ส่งผลให้ครูผู้ดูแลเด็กมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และทักษะในการสอดแทรกวินัยเข้ากับกิจกรรมประจำวันได้เพิ่มขึ้น
