การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชน โรงเรียนบ้านเหล่าหมี 2) หาแนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชน 3) ติดตามผลการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างโรงเรียนกับชุมชน ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ใช้กระบวนการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory action research) ดำเนินการ 2 วงรอบ แต่ละวงรอบประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นการวางแผน ขั้นการปฏิบัติการ ขั้นการสังเกตการณ์ และขั้นการสะท้อนกลับ กลุ่มเป้าหมายของการวิจัยประกอบด้วย กลุ่มผู้ร่วมวิจัย จำนวน 18 คน คือ ประกอบด้วย ผู้วิจัย 1 คน และผู้ร่วมวิจัย 17 คน และกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล จำนวน 40 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบบันทึกการสังเกตการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณใช้สถิติ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละค่าร้อยละ ความก้าวหน้า และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานการตรวจสอบข้อมูล เชิงคุณภาพผู้วิจัยได้ทำการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) จัดหมวดหมู่ของเนื้อหา และนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงพรรณนาวิเคราะห์

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลการศึกษาสภาพและปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชนโรงเรียนบ้านเหล่าหมีด้านสภาพพบว่า โรงเรียนมีการดำเนินงานแต่ขาดการวางแผนปฏิบัติงานการสร้างสัมพันธ์กับชุมชนการแต่งตั้งคณะกรรมการมอบหมายการปฏิบัติงานร่วมกันกับชุมชนในการให้และรับบริการกับชุมชน ในกิจกรรมของชุมชน บุคลากรมีการปฏิบัติงานแต่ขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจในการดำเนินงานอย่างเป็นระบบ มีการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ ร่วมกันแต่ไม่ต่อเนื่อง ด้านปัญหา ครูขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจในการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชน ความไม่พร้อมของวัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่จะให้บริการแก่ชุมชน ขาดงบประมาณในการสนับสนุนการให้บริการชุมชน ขาดการประชาสัมพันธ์ และขาดการนิเทศติดตามผลการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง และชุมชนยังไม่เข้าใจในการให้ความร่วมมือ ในการแก้ปัญหาด้านต่างๆ ของนักเรียนร่วมกัน 

2.  แนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์ชุมชน โรงเรียนบ้าน เหล่าหมี จำนวน 2 วงรอบใช้แนวทางการพัฒนา 3แนวทาง ประกอบด้วย 1) การประชุม  เชิงปฏิบัติการ 2) การศึกษาดูงาน 3) การพัฒนาการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชน ใช้แนวทางการพัฒนาโดยการใช้การนิเทศแบบให้คำชี้แนะติดตามการดำเนินการและการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม

3.  ผลการพัฒนาดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชนโรงเรียนบ้านเหล่าหมี  6 งาน ประกอบด้วย 1) งานสถานศึกษาให้ความช่วยเหลือหรือบริการชุมชน 2) งานสถานศึกษาขอความร่วมมือจากชุมชน 3) งานการเชิญผู้ปกครองและประชาชนในชุมชนมาประชุม 4) งานการออกเยี่ยมผู้ปกครอง และผู้เรียนตามบ้าน 5) งานการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่ดีกับชุมชนและหน่วยงานอื่น และ 6) งานการประชาสัมพันธ์สถานศึกษา ซึ่งสามารถสรุปผลได้ดังนี้ ผู้วิจัยและผู้ร่วมวิจัยที่ได้รับการพัฒนามีผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจต่อการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (X̅=4.87) ผลการศึกษาดูงานโรงเรียนต้นแบบอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (X̅=4.93) ผลจากการพัฒนาผู้ร่วมวิจัยและผู้ให้ข้อมูลในการการพัฒนาการดำเนินงาน ในวงรอบที่ 1 ผู้ร่วมวิจัยและผู้ให้ข้อมูล มีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับมาก (X̅=4.16) และผลการพัฒนาในวงรอบที่ 2 พบว่ามีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (X̅=4.53) และมีร้อยละความก้าวหน้าเท่ากับ 44.05ได้แนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชน ที่ทำให้โรงเรียนกับชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมมากขึ้น

This study aimed to: 1) examine the states and problems concerning community relationship of Ban Lao Mi School, 2) find out guidelines for operationaldevelopment in terms ofcommunityrelationship, and 3) monitor the effects afterthe operation of school-community relationship. This studyemployed two spirals of a four-stageparticipatory action research process comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection. The target group consisted of 18 members of a research group comprising the researcher and 17 co-researchers, and 40 informants. Tools used were a set of questionnaire, a form of interview, and a form of observation. Quantitative data were analyzed by mean, percentage, percentage of progress and standard deviation.  Content analysis in forms of content classification and descriptive presentation was utilized for analyzing qualitative data.

          The findings of the study were as follows:

1.  The investigation on the states and problems concerning the school operationon community relationship of Ban Lao Mi School revealed that the school operation on community relationship was implemented, but did not have operational planning for building school-community relationship. The committee was appointed and assigned to work together with community in terms of school service contributions to community activities. In addition, school personnel reported their performance on community relationship but not continuously, and limited knowledge and understanding in operating the community relationship systematically.  There were also variousissues in terms of equipment and materialshortages, budget limitation, and public relationsalong with the continuity of the monitoring supervision.The community also lacked understanding on collaborative participation in order to solve students’ problems.

2.  The guidelines for developing the operation of community relationship of Ban Lao Mi School involved three means: 1) a workshop, 2) a study tour, and  3) a coaching supervision to monitor the operational development and participation in community activities.  

3.  The guidelines for developing the operation on community relationship comprised six tasks: 1) school provision of community assistance or services, 2) school and community cooperation,3) parents/guardians invitation to school meetings,  4) visiting parents/guardians and those attending home school, 5) good interaction with community and other agencies, and 6) school public relations. In conclusion, the overall satisfaction of co-researchers toward the workshop were at the highest level(X̅=4.87), and the study tour at the highest level(X̅=4.93). In the first spiral, the co-researchers and informants indicated that the quality of the operational development was at a high level (X̅=4.16), whereas at the highest level (X̅=4.53)  in the second spiral with percentage of progressof 44.05.  The implementation of the proposed guidelines for operational development on community relationship created greater participationofboth school and community.
