การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา คุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นประชาชนที่มารับบริการจากเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม  ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปี ขึ้นไป จำนวน 341 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. คุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงครามจังหวัดนครพนม ตามความคิดเห็นของประชาชนที่มารับบริการ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (X̅= 3.59, S.D.=0.73) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า มีคุณภาพการให้บริการในระดับมาก ทุกด้าน โดยด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด คือ ด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก (X̅= 3.65, S.D.=0.77) รองลงมา คือ ด้านอาคารสถานที่ (X̅= 3.62, S.D.=0.75) ส่วนด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด คือ ด้านเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ให้บริการ (X̅= 3.52, S.D.=0.82) ตามลำดับ

2. การเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของประชาชนต่อคุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล สามารถสรุปผลได้ดังนี้

2.1 จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะด้าน เพศ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส ระยะเวลาที่อยู่อาศัยในตำบลสามผง และประสบการณ์ในการมาใช้บริการเทศบาลตำบลสามผง ในรอบ 1 ปี ที่ผ่านมา พบว่า ความคิดเห็นของประชาชนต่อคุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม ทั้งในภาพรวม และรายด้าน ทุกด้าน   ไม่แตกต่างกัน 

2.2 จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะด้าน ระดับการศึกษา และอาชีพ พบว่า ความคิดเห็นของประชาชนต่อคุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม ทั้งในภาพรวม และรายด้าน ทุกด้าน มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 

3. คุณภาพการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม ที่ควรนำไปศึกษาหาแนวทางในการพัฒนาการให้บริการของเทศบาลตำบลสามผง อำเภอศรีสงคราม จังหวัดนครพนม มีจำนวน 1 ด้าน คือ ด้านเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ให้บริการ

The purpose of this study was to investigate quality of providing service of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province. A sample used in study was 341 people of 18 years of age or over who went to receive service from Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province. The instrument used for collecting data was a questionnaire and statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA.

The results of study were as follows.

1. The overall quality of providing service of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province according to the opinion of people who received service was at high level. Considering it by aspect, quality of providing service of all the aspects was at high level. The aspect that gained the highest mean score was of facilities. The aspect whose mean score ranked next was of buildings and location, whereas the aspect of officers who provide service gained the lowest mean score respectively.

2. The comparison of people opinion on quality of service provided by Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province as classified by personal background can be concluded as follows.

2.1 As classified by sex, age, marital status, length of time living in Samphong sub-district, and experience in receiving service from Samphong Sub-district Municipality in the past one year ago, the people opinion on quality of providing service of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province as a whole and each aspect was found not different.

2.2 As classified by educational attainment and occupation, it was found that people opinion on quality of providing service of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province as a whole and each aspect was found significantly different at the .05 level.

3. The quality of providing service of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province that would be investigated to find a way in developing the service providing of Samphong Sub-district Municipality, Si Songkhram district, Nakhon Phanom province consists of 1 aspect, namely ‘officers who provide service’.
